Тем не менее, в российской историографии существует ряд публикаций, в которых с разных позиций рассматриваются концептуальные основы внешней политики США в южно-азиатском регионе, американо-индийские и американо-пакистанские отношения, влияние ядерного фактора на внешнеполитическую стратегию Вашингтона в Южной Азии, геополитические треугольники США – Индия – КНР и США – Пакистан – КНР и другие проблемы.=In the article the Russian historiography of the U.S. foreign policy towards the South Asia in the postbipolar period is considered. This direction of Washington’s foreign policy strategy in the Russian-language historical and political science literature than, for example, East Asian, Middle Eastern or European directions is less developed. It is explained by arrangement of priorities in the U.S. foreign policy and corresponding reflection of such approach in the Russian publications. Nevertheless, in the Russian historiography there is a number of publications in which from different positions conceptual basics of the U.S. foreign policy in the South Asian region are covered, the U.S. – India and the U.S. – Pakistan relations, the impact of the nuclear factor in Washington’s foreign policy strategy in the South Asia, geopolitical triangles of the USA – India – the PRC and the USA – Pakistan – the PRC and other problems.
