Трудности перевода английских лимериков

Abstract

Рассмотрена одна из проблем перевода особой разновидности игровой организации текста – лимериков. Анализ переводов лимериков с английского языка на русский позволяет утверждать, что переводчику при переводе лимериков необходимо суметь найти образные и контекстуальные аналоги, соблюдая форму произведения, чтобы продемонстрировать игру слов и юмор, заложенные в английском лимерике.= The main purpose of the article is the description of one of the problems of translation of particular varieties of gaming text’s organization – limericks. Analysis of limericks’ translations from English into Russian language suggests to state, that a translator in the translation of limericks should be able to find the shape and contextual analogues, observing the form of a work to demonstrate the wordplay and humor embedded in the English limerick.
