| Abstract: | The article gives the theoretical background of the course book “English for IT specialists” that is built on competency-based and communication-centered approaches. The main attention is paid to lexical approach as the modern key way of teaching English. The tasks from the 1st unit “The world of the Internet” are taken as examples. |
