Abstract: Priority problem of machine building on modern stage alongside with provision due technical level is increasing quality and reliability of the machines. Earlier specialist it is not enough was used possibility technological and working heredity i.e. influences result previous operation on working characteristic of the final products. In recently questions technological and working heredity is spared all greater attention. Technological and working heredity in view of person of specifics of the laboratory studies at repair of the machines to date little were considered. So study of the technological inheritance physico-mechanical and geometric parameter quality when recovering the details in repair production particularly currently. The called on studies have allowed to reveal the defining processes of the issue characteristic when recovering and processing the worn-out surfaces supporting neck and fist of the camshaft of the engine ZMZ-53 and in accordance with them to develop the regulationses for operation of the technological process
