Abstract: The article is devoted to such a layer of vocabulary as neologisms, which are one of the most productive means of replenishing the lexical composition of the English language. New words are created every day, and their number in the English language is growing rapidly, their appearance is the result of a struggle between two trends Ц the development trend of the language and the trend of its preservation. In order to more adequately reflect, reproduce and consolidate new ideas and concepts, language in general and vocabulary in particular are forced to rebuild, differentiate, generate new units.</summary>

Abstract: The opinion of students of Polotsk State University regarding the organization of the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic is considered. The negative and positive aspects of this form of education are noted. Special attention is paid to the discipline "Physical Culture", as in the conditions of home self-isolation and forced restriction of physical activity, the need for physical activity increases significantly.</summary>

Abstract: This article is focused on the Russian historiography of Polish parliamentarism in the late 16thЦ18th centuries. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of the vision of the political institutions of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of the late 16th - 18th centuries, taking into account the political realities of different stages of Russian historiography. The periodization of the study of the Polish political system is provided. The specifics of the perception of Polish history by Russian researchers is determined.</summary>
