Authors: І.
Асобная ўвага звернута на вобраз здрадніка – асобы, што не вытрымала фізічных катаванняў і псіхалагічнага ўціску.= The article is devoted to the multifaceted study of life experience typical for the prisoners of war, intern-ees, people sentenced to hard labour as depicted in the national literature of the twentieth century. The research is based on the prose works by A. Adamovich, V. Bykau, C. Hartny, M. Harecky, L. Dajnieka, Ya. Kolas, M. Mashara, B. Sachanka. It is pointed out that the writers of different generations turned to the subjects connected with some imagalogic problems (perception of the ‘foreign’ way of thinking, standards of behavior and interper-sonal relationships, everyday life). The authors tried to point out those changes which take place in a charac-ter’s soul under the influence of some extreme events. Special attention is drawn to the image of betrayer (a per-son who failed to cope with physical torture and psychological pressure).

Authors: М.
Современная особенность восприятия «Виленских коммунаров» заключается в том, что идея национального самоопределения является социальным мифом для рассказчика-большевика, тогда как для читателя наших дней очевидна утопичность революционных идей.= The aim of this article is to reveal the attitude to social myth within the triad «author – hero-narrator − reader» based on the novel «Vilna Communards» by M. Harecki. on the one hand, the novel takes the position of servility in relation to existing at the time of its creation social myth about the national issue as secondary to the issue of political orientation and the revolution as a necessary event in the construction of a just society. on the other hand, the first-person narrative allows the author of the novel to distance from the point of view of the Bolshevik-narrator, which, obviously, was previously shared by the author himself. The reader of the Soviet era embraced this point of view, while the modern reader, having a different outlook and historical knowledge, refers to it critically and forms his own attitude to the events of the novel. A modern feature of the perception of «Vilna Communards» lies in the fact that the idea of national self-determination is a social myth for the Bolshevik-narrator, while revolutionary ideas are utopian for the reader of our time.

Authors: В.
Анализируются причины и национальная специфика дискретного развития модернизма в русской и белорусской литературах ХХ века.= In this article the basic style transformations of Russian and Belarusian modernist prose in the last third of the twentieth century are revealed on the example of the novel genre. The usage of the aesthetics of modernism and the avant-garde, the combination of sentimental and physiological, reality and fiction, the use of techniques of secondary artistic conventionality allowed the writers to reflect complex and ambiguous human relations with the environment, and the attempt to pattern their behaviour in the conditions of social deconstruction. The reasons and the national peculiarities of the discrete development of modernism in the Russian and Belarusian literatures of the twentieth century are analyzed in this paper.

Authors: В.
Эстетический плюрализм, установка на жанровый эксперимент, по мнению исследователей, не только обогащают новыми формами и методами современную русскоязычную прозу, но могут также рассматриваться как признак жанрового кризиса.= The main genre tendencies in the Russian-language prose of Belarus of the late XX – early XXI centuries. At the turn of the century, the paradigms of artistry change, as a result of which the genre system is updated. The transformation of the genre canon is associated with the development of hybrid and synthetic forms. The process of hybridization is carried out in two main discourses: the synthesis of the real and the fantastic, the artistic and the documentary. The reverse trend indicates a narrowing of the genre boundaries, minimalization. Aesthetic pluralism, setting for a genre experiment, according to researchers, not only enrich with modern forms and methods modern Russian-language prose, but can also be considered as a sign of a genre crisis.
