В работе в хронологической последовательности описаны принимаемые правительством меры по усилению группировки российских войск на территории белорусских губерний, как в целях противодействия повстанческим отрядам, так и в связи с опасениями о возможном вмешательстве европейских государств в решение польского вопроса.= The article reveals the processes of concentration and territorial deployment of troops of the Russian empire in Belarus in the run-up to and during the uprising of 1863–1864. This work is the first attempt to establish the organizational structure, composition, number and locations of individual units and formations of the russian army at various stages of the uprising. Вельмі слаба вывучана гісторыя стараверскага насельніцтва другой паловы ХVІІ – ХVІІІ стст.= The history of studying the Old Believers' population of Northern Belarus is considered. The stages in the study of the Old Believers' history and culture are singled out, the methods of collection, processing and interpretation of historical, ethnographic and folklore materials are characterized, the significance of the researches and their contribution to the study of the history and cultural traditions of the Old Believers of the region are revealed. The article analyzes the works that were published from the 19th century to our time. Despite the fact that the first serious works, where the history and culture of the Old Believers of Northern Belarus were considered, were published in the middle of the 19th century, most of the issues have not been considered until now. Only the processes of settlement of the territory of Northern Belarus by the Old Believers are superficially investigated, the dynamics of the population number is not traced and the peculiarities of its settlement in the region are not revealed. The peculiarities of the traditional culture of Old Believers are almost not considered, its evolution in the 20th - early 21st centuries are not investigated. The issues of social and economic status of the Old Believers in the region were not widely reflected in scientific publications. The history of Old Believers in the second half of the 17-18 centuries is very poorly studied. Abstract: Дан анализ правового положения монахов мужских и женских православных монастырей белорусско- литовских епархий: Минской, Могилевской, Полоцкой, Литовской, Гродненской. Выявлены изменения правового статуса (юридически закрепленного положения в государстве и обществе) монашествующего сообщества и монастырей белорусско-литовских епархий, характерные для периода второй трети XIX – начала XX в. Рассмотрены нормативно-правовые документы, регламентирующие процесс вступления послушников и послушниц в состав монашествующей братии и организацию культовой и хозяйственной деятельности монастырей. Проведен анализ государственных законов, указов и определений Синода, Духовных консисторий позволивший определить изменения в положении монашествующего сословия. Выявлена разница в правовом положении монахов в мужских и женских монастырях. Определен характер наград (канонических, литургических, внебогослужебных) и благодарностей Св. Синода и епархиального начальства православным монахам.= The analysis of the legal status of the monks of male and female Orthodox monasteries of the Belarusian- Lithuanian dioceses: Minsk, Mogilev, Polotsk, Lithuania, Grodno. The change in the legal status (legally enshrined position in the state and society) of the monastic community and monasteries of the Belarusian- Lithuanian dioceses characteristic of the second third of the XIX - early XX centuries. The regulatory documents governing the process of entry of novices and novices into the monastic fraternity and the organization of the cult and economic activities of monasteries are considered. The analysis of state laws, decrees and definitions of the Synod, of the Spiritual Consistories was made, which allowed to determine the changes in the position of the monastic estate. The difference in the legal status of monks in male and female monasteries is revealed. The nature of the awards (canonical, liturgical, extra-liturgical) and the thanks of the Synod and the diocesan authorities to Orthodox monks are determined.
