В романе Козько «Бунт невостребованного праха» («Бунт незапатрабаванага праху»), как и в романе Делилло «Преисподняя» отражено опасное воздействие современного технического и индустриального прогресса, который ведет к разрушению природы и экологическому кризису. = The article deals with the literary artistic experiment in the creative work of influential Belarusian writer, Viktar Kazko, and celebrated American writer, Don Delillo. The novel by V. Kazko Revolt of Uncalled Dust and the novel by D. Delillo Underworld reveal the dangerous effect of contemporary technological and industrial progress which leads to the destruction of nature and universal ecological crisis. In the experimental novels by Belarusian and American writers serious problems of contemporary mechanized world are considered and the most important post-Chernobyl realities are analyzed. It is stressed that Chernobyl has become an influential symbol of people’s responsibility for future generations. Both V. Kazko and D. Delillo emphasize the significance of cultural and historical memory, man’s responsibility for scientific discoveries, the importance of moral values for people in order to survive and to preserve life on the Planet. The novels are characterized by vivid images, symbolism, biblical parallels, diversity of problems and intertextuality. The writers warn humankind about possible universal apocalypse and present their concepts of a renewed life on Earth.ru_RU
