Археалагічныя раскопкі ў Асвеі

Abstract

Прадстаўлены вынікі археалагічнага даследавання ў гарадскім пасёлку Асвея Верхня-дзвінскага раёна Віцебскай вобласці ў жніўні 2004 г. Раскопкі праводзіліся ўпершыню. Зроблена выснова, што пачатковае пасяленне на месцы сучаснай Асвеі было заснавана славянскім насельніцтвам у Х–ХІ стст. Гэтае пасяленне развівалася ў межах усходняй пагоркавай часткі паўднёвага мыса Асвейскага возера. У XVIIІ–XIX стст. грамадзянская забудова “крочыла” далёка ва ўсходнім накірунку і наблізілася да сучасных тапаграфічных межаў, што звязана з адмысловай дзейнасцю шляхецкага роду Гільзэнаў-Шадурскіх. Прыводзіцца апісанне стратыграфіі ў розных частках пасялення і знойдзеных археалагічных знаходак.=The results of archeological research in urban settlement Osveya of Verhnedvinsk territory in Vitebsk region in august 2014 are presented in historiography for the first time. These were the first excavations in this region. It was concluded that early settlement on the territory of present Osveya was founded by Slavonic inhabitants in the Х–ХІth centuries. The early settlement was expanding within eastern rising part of southern point of Osveya Lake. The description of stratigraphy of cultural level in different parts of the settlement and of discovered archeological findings is presented. The preliminary conclusion of probable status of the early settlement as pivotal centre of Slavonic colonization on the territory of Osveya Lake is drawn. Probably, in the Х–ХІth centuries Osveya used to be an outpost on the northern frontiers of Polotsk Land, bordering on settling zone of Baltic tribes.
