Изучение остеологических материалов из городских погребений с территории Беларуси

Abstract

Раскрыта история антропологических исследований скелетных материалов, выявленных в ходе археологических раскопок на территории белорусских городов. Показан вклад белорусских антропологов в изучении древнего городского населения. Охарактеризован состав остеологических коллекций, находящихся на сохранении в фондах Института истории НАН Беларуси и Полоцкого государственного университета.= In the article the history of anthropological studies of the human skeletal materials revealed during ar-cheological excavations on the territory of the Belarusian cities is shown. The contribution of the Belarusian anthropologists in studying of ancient urban population is shown. The composition of the osteological collec-tions, which are on preservation in funds of Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Polotsk State University is characterized.
