Abstract

На основе анализа имеющихся летописных свидетельств, исследуются проявления коллективной активности жителей Полоцка ХІІ в. по отношению к правившим в городе князьям. Исходя из анализа летописных сообщений, делается вывод, что большинство вечевых собраний и последующих действий полочан было вызвано экстраординарными обстоятельствами, а сами собрания полочан происхо- дили стихийно.= On the basis of the analysis of the available chronicle evidence, the manifestations of the collective activity of the inhabitants of Polotsk of the XII century are being investigated. in relation to the princes who ruled in the city.
