dc.description.abstractРассматривается образ замка в романах Х. Уолпола «Замок Отранто» (The Castle of Otranto, 1764) и К. Рив «Старый английский барон» (The Old English Baron, 1777). Обосновывается, что замок является центральным понятием английской готической литературы, выполняя при этом сюжетообразующую роль. Выделяются общие и особенные черты пространственной структуры готического замка в произведениях основоположников готического романа. Доказывается, что для художественного пространства замка в готическом произведении характерна многосоставность образа.ru_RU
