dc.description.abstractВ статье рассматривается история противодействия переезду архимандрита Владимира (Финьковского) на служение в белорусских приходах юрисдикции Константинопольского патриархата. Избранный на должность настоятеля белорусского прихода в Торонто, он не смог въехать в страну после поступившего в канадское и американское дипломатические представительства сообщения о просоветских симпатиях священнослужителя. На протяжении длительного времени оставалось неизвестным имя автора этого анонимного доноса. Обращение к рассекреченным документам ЦРУ периода «холодной войны» позволило установить, что в 1956 и 1958 гг. президент Рады БНР Н. Абрамчик обращался к представителям ЦРУ, пытаясь воспрепятствовать переезду священнослужителя в Северную Америку. При этом Н. Абрамчик использовал в качестве аргумента обвинение священнослужителя в симпатиях к советскому политическому строю.ru_RU

local.description.annotationThe article is devoted to the history of opposition to the relocation of Archimandrite Vladimir (Finkovsky) to serve in the Belarusian parishes under the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. Elected to the post of rector of the Belarusian parish in Toronto he could not enter the country after the message about the clergy's pro-Soviet sympathies received from the Canadian and American diplomatic missions. For a long time, the name of the author of this anonymous denunciation remained unknown. An appeal to declassified CIA documents from the Cold War period made it possible to establish that in 1956 and 1958 President of the Council of the Belarusian People's Republic N. Abramchik contacted with representatives of the CIA, trying to prevent Archimandrite Vladimir from moving to North America. At the same time, N. Abramchik used as an argument the accusation of the clergyman of sympathy for the Soviet political system.ru_RU
