dc.description.alternativeThe article is devoted to the problems of legal regulation of the prosecutor's activity at the stage of execution of the sentence. The author justifies the importance of prosecutor's supervision over compliance with the law in the execution of final court decisions and also pays attention to the gaps and contradictions in the legal regulation of this area of prosecutor's office activity. The article defines the prospects for improving the current legislation. The inclusion of the prosecutor in the circle of subjects authorized to make representations to the court on the resolution of issues related to the execution of the sentence, the definition of the procedural position of the prosecutor in the proceedings on the resolution of issues related to the execution of the sentence are some of these proposals.en
