| dc.description.abstract | Рассматриваются особенности замкового хронотопа в романе У. Коллинза (William Wilkie Collins, 1824–1889) «Отель с привидениями» (The Haunted Hotel: A Mystery of Modern Venice, 1878). Устанавливается связь с готической традицией в описании таинственного отеля. Выделяются мотивы, художественные и психологические приемы, создающие образ потустороннего отеля. На основании связи романа с детективным жанром и формой сенсации, обращается внимание на отличия замкового хронотопа произведения У. Коллинза от хронотопа классического готического романа. | ru_RU |

| dc.description.alternative | The article deals with the features of the castle chronotope in the novel by William Wilkie Collins (1824–1889) “The Haunted Hotel: A Mystery of Modern Venice” (1878). The connection between the Gothic tradition and the description of the mysterious hotel is established. The motifs, artistic and psychological techniques that create the image of an otherworldly hotel are highlighted. Based on the connection of the novel with the detective genre and the form of sensation, attention is drawn to the differences between the castle chronotope of W. Collins’s work and the chronotope of the classic Gothic novel. | ru_RU |
