dc.description.abstractВ статье рассматривается роман американской писательницы М. Миллер (Madeline Miller, род. 24 июля 1978 г.) «Цирцея» (Circe, 2018), представляющий собой реконструкцию мифологического сюжета о Цирцее. Данный роман стал важным явлением в современной литературе, реанимировав интерес к античным мифам через призму феминистского взгляда. Автор, опираясь на классические источники (Гесиод, Гомер, Овидий), трансформирует канонический образ волшебницы, наполняя его психологической глубиной и актуальными соци- альными смыслами. В статье обосновывается, что М. Миллер сочетает верность античной традиции с нова- торским подходом, создавая многогранный портрет Цирцеи как жертвы, творца и бунтарки.ru_RU
