Важным аспектом исследования стало изучение деятельности священнослужителей полоцких храмов в период оккупации, таких как архимандрит Модест (Павлов) протоиерей Антоний (Девятовский), протоиерей Иоанн (Соколовский), иерей Михаил (Карандей). Источниковой базой представленной работы являются статьи и заметки оккупационной газеты «Новый путь» из фондов Государственного архива Витебской области, а также материалы архива Полоцкого Спасо-Евфросиниевского ставропигиального женского монастыря.	ru_RU
