dc.descriptionThis article provides a historiographic review of research on women's metal jewelry from the 10th to 13th centu-ries in Central and Southern Belarus. The chronological scope of the study is the 1920s–2020s. An analysis of the ar-chaeological literature identifies two main periods of study for this category of artifacts: the interwar and postwar peri-ods, which are further divided into stages. Researchers have traditionally examined women's jewelry within the context of the ethnic history of East Slavic tribal unions, based on materials from funerary monuments, rural settlements, and the cultural layers of ancient Russian cities. Despite the significant volume of accumulated material and established museum jewelry collections, a conspicuous absence of a comprehensive study that comprehensively addresses the origin, typology, chronology, and distribution of women's metal jewelry in the selected region and period.ru_RU
dc.description.abstractСтатья посвящена историографическому обзору исследований женских металлических украшений X – XIII вв. с территории Центральной и Южной Беларуси. Хронологические рамки работы – 1920-е – 2020-е гг. В ходе ана-лиза археологической литературы, выделены два основных периода изучения данной категории артефактов: межвоенный и послевоенный, которые в свою очередь деляться на этапы. В работах исследователей женские украшения традиционно рассматривались в контексте этнической истории восточнославянских племенных сою-зов на основе материалов погребальных памятников, сельских поселений и культурных слоёв древнерусских городов. Несмотря на значительный объём накопленного материала и сформированные музейные коллекции украшений, бросается в глаза отсутсвие обобщающего исследования, комплексно освещающего вопросы происхождения, типологии, хронологии, распространения женских металлических украшений выбранного региона и периода.ru_RU
