Abstract: Исследуется новая иноязычная лексика в русском и немецком языках с точки зрения ее происхождения и тематической соотнесенности. = There was examined the new foreign lexis in the Russian and German languages from the point of view of its origin and thematic correlation. It is shown that the English language is the main source-language of the loanwords-neologisms in the Russian and German lexis. The question of broadening of the general lexical fund of the contemporary languages is raised, and not only by means of the words formed from the Greco-Latin radicals, but from the newest Anglicisms as well, which are common for a number of languages (mainly the terminological lexis from the sphere of the information technology). In the article there were reviewed some examples of the pseudoanglicisms, i.e. the words formed from the English morphemes not in the English language areal. There were distinguished eight thematic groups of the new loanwords, among which the most numerous one appeared to be the group “Information technology. Computers and Internet”, which can be explained by the active development of the informatics and the convenience to use the single international (English) terminology nowadays.
