Трагедии разрушения личности в романе Уильяма Голдинга «Повелитель мух»

Abstract

Рассмотрены особенности осмысления проблемы личности и цивилизации в романе У. Голдинга «Повелитель мух». Обращается внимание на то, что герои произведения представляют собой социум в миниатюре. Голдинг подчеркивает, что человек склонен к разрушению и собственной души, и окружающего мира, созданного им самим в результате многовекового труда. По У. Голдингу, саморазрушение личности происходит одновременно с разрушениями гуманных устоев общества, а затем и разрушением материальных ценностей земли, поскольку люди и создаваемое ими общество при определенных условиях могут легко скатиться к варварству. В романе автор показал опыт жестокости цивилизации, который перенесен в детское сознание.= The understanding peculiarities of the problem of a man and a civilization in W. Golding’s story “Lord of the Flies” are considered in the article. The attention is paid to the fact that the characters of this work represent society in a miniature. Golding emphasizes that the person is inclined to the destruction of both his own soul, and the world around created by him as a result of centuries-old work. According to W. Golding, self-damage of the personality happens currently with the destructions of humane foundations of society, and then with the destruction of material values of the earth as people and their society can easily come down to barbarity under certain conditions.
