Abstract: Показаны и обоснованы основные отличия маркетинга объектов интеллектуальной собственности, в рамках которых дано определение патентно-конъюнктурным ис- следованиям. Обоснована необходимость их проведения и роль в маркетинговых исследованиях объектов интеллектуальной собственности.= The article gives the concept of commercialization of intellectual property. It is represented as a complex long-term process which starts with R&D and completed its exit to the market. It is proved that the result of intellectual activity, is a commodity that is created in the scientific field and represents a unique product in a single copy. It is not the product of mass production and has a number of fundamental differences from traditional commodities materialized. Therefore, marketing of intellectual property also has a fundamental difference from traditional marketing. The article establishes the basic differences of marketing intellectual property. Within those differences represented the definition of patent and market research. It was justified by the need to these research and their role in market research of intellectual property.
