Магическая сила рун в шведских народных балладах

Abstract

Анализируются сюжеты шведских народных баллад о магической силе рун как отличительной особенности скандинавской балладной традиции. Упоминаются основные теории и подходы к определению происхождения и значения слова “руна”. Помимо детального анализа трех шведских баллад рассматривается также шотландская баллада, позаимствованная из Скандинавии и имеющая аналогичный сюжет, где, однако, магическая сила рун заменена волшебным свойством растения.=The plots of the Swedish folk ballads about the magic power of the runes as the distinctive feature of the Scandinavian ballad tradition is analysed in this article analyzes. The basic theories and approaches to the determination of the origin and meaning of the word “rune” are also mentioned in the article. In addition to the detailed analysis of 3 Swedish ballads a Scottish one is examined as well. Its plot was borrowed from Scandinavia and is very similar, however, the magic power of the runes was replaced by the supernatural properties of plants.
