История изучения культовых и исторических камней на территории Беларуси

Abstract

Анализируются сведения о культовых камнях на территории Беларуси, которые датируются еще XVI в. В конце XVIII в. интеллигенция и люди, увлеченные историей, обратили внимание на данные свидетельства и стали изучать культовые камни. Особый интерес к памятникам данного типа со стороны археологов и историков появился на рубеже ХХ в. Отмечается, что действительно научное изучение культовых камней на территории Беларуси началось в конце 80-х г. ХХ в.= Information about cult stones on the territory of Belarus can be found in written sources, which date back to the 16th century. At the end of the 18th century intellectuals and people passionate about history paid attention to the began to study the cult stones. Special interest to the monuments of this type appeared at the turn of the 20th century especially from the side of archaeologists and historians. Indeed the scientific study of the cult stones on the territory of Belarus began in the late 80-ies of XX century.
