Система управления местами заключения в белорусских губерниях, входивших в состав Российской империи

Abstract

Освещается процесс исторического развития карательной политики в белорусских губерниях в период их нахождения в составе царской России. На протяжении XIX века прослеживается путь возникновения и последовательного формирования органов управления тюремной системой. Отмечены важнейшие законодательные акты, сопровождавшие объективный процесс централизации органов управления тюрьмами и унификации их штатов.= In the article the author highlights the process of historical development of the punitive policy in the Byelorussian provinces in the period when they were part of the czarist Russia. From the beginning to the end of the nineteenth century, the way of the emergence and consistent formation of the organs of administration of the prison system was noted. The most important legislative acts were noted that accompanied an objective process of centralization of the management bodies of prisons and the unification of their states.
