Abstract: The analysis of the structure of single-layer and two-layer samples, as well as a physical explanation of the propagation of sound waves in building materials of various structures. A comparative analysis of the soundproofing and sound absorbing properties of the applied samples is given. Determining the sound transmission of building materials and their combinations.
