Abstract: | Ballad genre is incredibly diverse. It includes a lot of different theme groups and ballads of supernatural is one of the most extensive. Ballads about magic, transformations and supernatural beings are known all over Europe, especially in Scotland and Scandinavian countries. Belarusian folk song and ballad tradition is not an exception. |
