| Abstract: | The article deals with the different ways of the nonequivalent lexis translation. A detailed description of the nonequivalent lexis is given. This lexis is divided into three groups: referentially nonequivalent, pragmatically nonequivalent, alternatively nonequivalent. The author emphasizes the fact that the nonequivalent lexis can cause serious difficulties during translation and it requires specific approaches. |
