Abstract: Belarus and Poland has a great potential for the development of water tourism - a large number of rivers and lakes. In 1921-1939, when West Belarus became part of Poland, canoe tourism became very popular. It quickly spread among young people and the military. In the Interwar Period the first canoe rally was organized on the territory of West Belarus and Poland.
