| Abstract: | Transcendentalism is an essential part of American Romanticism, so it seems important to find out whether this movement had influence on Nathaniel Hawthorne's creative work. It is emphasized that despite writer's disapproval of the movement N. Hawthorne had some views in common with transcendentalism followers, R. W. Emerson and H. D. Thoreau in particular. |
