| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются отличительные черты авторской маски в романе У. Теккерея «Ярмарка тщеславия». Перечисляются некоторые маркеры авторской маски, анализируется структура авторской маски, которая в романе представлена двумя образами – Кукольника и Проповедника. Выявляются причины выбора именно такой маски, анализируются различные точки зрения относительно количества повествующих инстанций в произведении. Рассматриваются причины и способы лишения нарратора привилегированной позиции. |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | In this article some peculiarities of authorial mask in the novel “Vanity fair” by W. Thackeray are considered. Some authorial mask markers are enumerated. Structure of the authorial mask is analyzed, which is represented in this novel it by two characters: the Manager of the performance and the Preacher. Some reasons for the choice of this type of mask are considered. Different opinions as to the number of narrating stances and are analyzed. Main reasons and ways for the narrator to deprive himself of the privileged position are examined. |
