| Abstract: | На основе изучения архивных данных исследуется порядок медицинского обеспечения заключенных в местах лишения свободы на белорусских землях после тюремной реформы 1879 г. Определяется комплекс мер, принятых Главным тюремным управлением по совершенствованию оказания осужденным медицинской помощи в тюремных больницах в конце XIX – начале ХХ вв. – увеличение финансирования медицинского обеспечения, организация строительства тюремных больниц, комплектование должностей медицинского персонала пенитенциарных учреждений, осуществление мероприятий по борьбе с инфекционными заболеваниями. Оценивается значение этой деятельности и определяются результаты принятых мер, а также проблемные вопросы медицинского обеспечения заключенных в местах лишения свободы на территории Беларуси в начале ХХ в. |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | Based on the study of archival data, the procedure for medical provision of prisoners in places of imprisonment on Belarusian lands after the prison reform of 1879 is being investigated. A set of measures is being determined, adopted by the General Prison Administration to improve the provision of medical care to convicts in prison hospitals in the late XIX – early XX centuries – increased funding for medical support, the construction of prison hospitals, the recruitment of medical personnel in penitentiary institutions, the implementation of measures to combat infectious diseases. The im-portance of this activity is assessed, and determine the results of the measures taken, as well as problematic issues of medical provision of prisoners in penitentiary institutions in Belarus at the beginning of the 20th century. |
