| Abstract: | В статье рассмотрены этапы становления и развития врачебно-трудовых экспертных комиссий (ВТЭК) БССР и раскрыты основные направления их работы в послевоенный период. Отмечены важнейшие изменения нормативной правовой базы, которые обусловили функционирование и приоритеты в практической деятельности ВТЭК. Выделены основные проблемы и трудности, с которыми столкнулась система социального обеспечения БССР в процессе работы ВТЭК и определены меры, которые принимались для их решения. |

This article highlights the most important changes in the normative legal base, which determined the functioning and priorities in the practical activities of the disability evaluation agency. The study identify main problems and difficulties faced by the social security system of the BSSR and the measures that were taken to solve them. |
