| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается роль отрицательных конструкций в реализации коммуникативной категории категоричности / некатегоричности на материале англоязычных научных текстов. В результате анализа вы-делены две группы отрицательных конструкций. Первая группа включает конструкции, которые выступают в качестве маркеров категоричности и акцентируют уверенность автора / говорящего в достоверности полученных выводов или правомерности высказанной критики. Во вторую группу входят отрицательные конструкции, которые встраиваются в высказывание и снижают его резкость, выступая, таким образом, в роли деинтенсификаторов, что подчеркивает заинтересованность участников научного общения в коммуникативном сотрудничестве и кооперативном взаимодействии. Выявлена жанровая специфика количественно-качественной представленности рассматриваемых групп отрицательных конструкций в научном тексте. |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | The article focuses on the role of the negative constructions in functioning of the communicative category of cat-egoricity / non-categoricity in the English-language scientific texts. The analysis reveals two groups of the negative struc-tures. The first group includes negative constructions that act as markers of categoricity and emphasize the author's confidence in reliability of the presented conclusions or legitimacy of the expressed criticism. The second group embraces negative constructions that reduce categoricity of the statement, thus acting as deintensifiers, which emphasizes the in-terest of the participants of scientific communication in cooperation. The study reveals that the quantitative and qualita-tive representation of the analyzed groups of the negative constructions is influenced by the genre of the scientific text. |
