| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается проблема отношения к жизни и смерти в эпическом мировосприятии в контек-сте «большого времени». Исследуются известные эпические памятники – шумерский «Эпос о Гильгамеше», древ-негреческая «Илиада» Гомера и немецкая «Песнь о Нибелунгах». Положенные в основу эпосов события «героиче-ской эпохи» (схожий общественный и политический строй, религиозные верования и мировоззрение) делают воз-можным поиск типологических сходств. Проблема отношения к смерти занимает центральное место в эпосе. Воспетая потомками гибель героя – основа его бессмертия. Данная концепция характерна для большинства эпи-ческих произведений. В статье утверждается мысль о бренности человеческого бытия перед волей судьбы. |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | The article examines the problem of attitude to life and death in the epic worldview in the context of ‘big time’. Famous epic monuments such as the Sumerian ‘Epic of Gilgamesh’, the ancient Greek ‘Iliad’ by Homer and the German ‘Nibelungenlied’ are studied. The events of the ‘heroic age’ that the epics based on (similarities in social and political system, religious beliefs and worldview) make it possible to search for typological parallels. The problem of attitude to death has always played a key role in the epics. The hero’s death, glorified by his descendants, is the basis of his immortality. This concept is characteristic of the most epic works. The article asserts the idea of the frailty of human existence before the will of fate. |
