| Abstract: | Рассматривается роман американской писательницы М. Миллер (Madeline Miller, род. 24 июля 1978 г.) «Песнь Ахилла» (The Song of Achilles, 2011), представляющий собой реконструкцию мифологического сюжета о Патрокле и Ахилле. Анализируется образ Патрокла в античных источниках, таких как «Илиада» Гомера и «Мифологическая библиотека» Аполлодора, а также его восприятие в произведении М. Миллер. Обосновывается, что миллеровская версия мифологического сюжета о Патрокле и Ахилле представляет собой реконструкцию личной истории внутри мифа, интерпретированного с наименьшей долей вольного «осовременивания». |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | The novel ‘The Song of Achilles’ (2011) by American writer Madeline Miller (born July 24, 1978), which is a reconstruction of the mythological story of Patroclus and Achilles, is considered. The image of Patroclus in ancient sources such as Homer’s ‘Iliad’ and Apollodorus ‘Mythological Library’ is analyzed, as well as his perception in M. Mil-ler’s work. It is substantiated that Miller’s version of the mythological story of Patroclus and Achilles is a reconstruction of a personal history within the myth, interpreted with the least amount of free ‘reification’. |
