| Abstract: | Анализируются формально-содержательные аспекты романа Э. Хемингуэя «Прощай, оружие!», которые комплементарно служат для художественного осмысления аксиологического кризиса в произведении, отражающем модернистское мировидение эпохи. Особое внимание уделяется экспериментальной природе текста, проявляющейся в языковом минимализме («принцип айсберга»), ярко выраженной суггестивности и авторской установке на очуждение действительности. Читатель-интерпретатор хемингуэевского текста наделяется активной сотворческой ролью. |

Hemingway’s novel “A Farewell to Arms”, which complementarily contribute to the artistic comprehension of the axiological crisis, reflecting the modernist worldview of the era. Special attention is given to the experimental dimension of the text, manifested in linguistic minimalism (the “iceberg theory”), prominent suggestiveness, and the author’s emphasis on the alienation of reality. The reader as interpreter of the author's text is given an active co-creative role. |
