| Abstract: | В статье исследуется концепция творчества в критических эссе Вирджинии Вулф в контексте эстетики модернизма. При анализе были рассмотрены ключевые работы из сборника В. Вулф «Обычный читатель». Сравнительно-сопоставительное изучение идей У. Пейтера, А. Бергсона и В. Вулф позволяет говорить о концептуальном переосмыслении роли и функций творческой личности. В результате обосновывается вывод о создании В. Вулф целостной философии творчества, основанной на «соавторстве» писателя и читателя. |

The analysis focuses on the key works from V. Woolf’s collection The Common Reader. A comparative study of the ideas of W. Pater, H. Bergson, and V. Woolf reveals a conceptual rethinking of the role and functions of the creative individual. The research substantiates the conclusion that V. Woolf developed an integral philosophy of creativity based on the ‘co-authorship’ of the writer and the reader. |
