| Abstract: | Актуальность настоящей статьи состоит в недостаточном научном внимании к малой лирике Джеффри Чосера (1340–1400), идейно-художественные достижения которой однозначно нашли отражение в его итоговом произведении «Кентерберийские рассказы» (1387–1400). Целью исследования является анализ интерпретации мотивов и идейного наполнения стихотворений поэта в его сборнике рассказов. Для удобства пятна-дцать стихотворений условно разделены на пять групп: песнь Деве Марии, жалобы и прошения, куртуазные баллады, «боэцианские» стихотворения и послания «по случаю». В результате детального изучения на уровне текста как такового можно сделать вывод о мастерстве Дж. Чосера подчинять жанровые границы и идейное наполнение на разнообразные темы повествовательным и характерологическим задачам сборника, тем самым укрепляя внутреннее единство новой жанровой формы. |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | The relevance of the present article arises from insufficient scientific attention to the short poems of Geoffrey Chaucer (1340–1400), due to undisputable reflection of their aesthetic and idea accomplishments in The Canterbury Tales. The purpose of the research undertaken is to analyze the interpretation of the short poems` motifs and ideas in the poet`s story collection. For convenience matters the fifteen short poems were conditionally divided into five groups: the Virgin Mary prayer, complaints, courtly love ballads, Boethian short poems and letters addressing definite occasions (lenvoys). The result of a detailed study on the text-itself-level can lead to a deduction about G. Chaucer`s mastery to subordinate genre limitations and ideas on diverse topics to narrative and characterization goals of the story collection by means of which the inner entity of the latter is consolidated. |
