| Abstract: | В статье исследуется проблема поиска идентичности в произведениях известной британской романистки первой половины XX в. Д. Ричардсон в контексте литературы британского модернизма и с учетом художественных установок писательницы. В результате анализа ряда романов Д. Ричардсон из цикла «Паломничество» сделан вывод, что для её произведений мотив поиска личностью собственного «я» становится центральным. |
| metadata.local.description.annotation: | This article examines the theme of the search for identity in the works of Dorothy Richardson – a prominent British novelist of the first half of the 20th century – within the context of British modernist literature and with regard to the author's artistic principles. An analysis of several novels from Richardson’s «Pilgrimage» cycle leads to the conclusion that the motif of the individual’s search for the self is central to her work. |
