В ходе вычленения основного смысла коммуникативных блоков наравне с отдельными словами и словосочетаниями могут опускаться целые предложения и абзацы.= The problem of teaching to presay translation to students of non-language specialities is analyzed in the article. Presay translation is the kind of translation, in which the compression of the core content of the source text in one language is done by means of another, the translational language. Suggested a selective approach to the determination of baseline components of the contents of the original text. In the course of exarticulation of the basic meaning of communication blocks, equally with single words and phrases the whole sentences and paragraphs can be dropped.
