Abstract: Рассматривается просодическая вариативность тематического компонента, являющаяся результатом взаимодействия структурной и функциональной составляющих в жанре учебной лекции. = Annotation: In the article the prosodic means of actual phrase segmentation in the didactic discourse through the genre of academic lecture are examined. The actual phrase segmentation is viewed as a multicomponent communicative structure including narrative frame, theme, rheme organized gradually. The prosodic variation of the theme which is composed of thematic frame, logical subject is the result of structural and functional parts interaction. in the academic lecture. Several prosodic variants of thematic structure are defined. The study revealed that the theme has no absolute prototype of the rise pitch pattern. The necessity of expressivity while lecturing information provides some repertory of expressive melodic figures where the fall pitch is of particular importance.
