Кресты-граффити на фасаде Полоцкой Спасо-Преображенской церкви

Abstract

Артыкул прысвечаны вывучэнню графіці – малюнкаў крыжоў, знойдзеных падчас рэстаўрацыйных работ на фасадзе Спаса-Праабражэнскай царквы г. Полацка. У інтэр'еры храма было знойдзена каля чатырох тысяч графіці. Даследаванне фасадаў Спаса-Праабражэнскай царквы паказала наяўнасць на іх графіці, як надпісаў, так і малюнкаў. Самымі цікавымі і значнымі графіці на фасадзе з'яўляюцца выявы крыжоў на тынкоўцы утопленага рада. Гэтыя малюнкі разнастайныя па форме і спосабу выканання і датуюцца 12 ст. Аднак усе яны прадрапаны вострым прадметам і значна паглыблены ў раствор. Прадстаўляецца магчымым, што такое адважнае драпанне на фасадзе звязана з тым, што гэтыя малюнкі былі пасля пакрытыя тынкоўкай. Яны не былі б бачныя, калі б тынкоўка не была пашкоджана і страчана ў гэтых месцах. Гэтыя графіці можна інтэрпрэтаваць як аўтографы або малітоўныя надпісы будаўнікоў. Такая малітва павінна была дзейнічаць ўвесь час, пакуль стаіць храм. Хаця магчымы таксама і некаторы спаборніцкі элемент (у каго выява атрымаецца прыгажэйшая і больш вычварная) у працэсе нанясення гэтых малюнкаў. Такія выявы былі схаваныя пад пластом тынкоўкі і сталі бачныя толькі пасля яе страты.=The article is devoted to the study of graffiti – images of crosses found during restoration work on the facade of the Transfiguration Church in Polotsk. About four thousand graffiti were found in the interior of the church. Examination of the facades of the Transfiguration Church showed the presence of graffiti on them, both inscriptions and drawings. The most interesting and significant graffiti on the facade are the images of crosses on the plaster of the recessed row. These drawings are varied in form and method of execution and date back to the 12th century. All of them are scratched with a sharp object and significantly deepened into the solution. It seems possible that such a bold scratching on the facade is due to the fact that these drawings were subsequently covered with plaster. They would not have been visible if the plaster had not been damaged and lost in these places. These graffiti can be interpreted as autographs or prayer inscriptions of the builders. Such a prayer should have been active all the time while the temple was standing. Although it is also possible to have some competitive element (who will have a more beautiful and intricate image) in the process of drawing these drawings. Such images were hidden under a layer of plaster and became visible only after its loss.
