| Abstract: | The article deals with the essence of the labor market, its structure, types and models. Theoretical approaches of different authors in the category "labor market", the functions of the labor market as a result of the laws of supply and demand. Discussed the theoretical foundations of the labor market are needed to assess the degree of balance in the labor market and to develop ways to improve the management mechanism of the balance of the labor market.
